Fashion books are great as a piece of décor in addition to being fascinating reads about all of the amazing designers in the world. I use mine as a décor piece on my bedside table and I love how it looks. Since I eat, sleep, and breathe fashion it is perfect for my bedside table. I am going to discuss my favorite books that I keep on my bedside table!
I absolutely love Vogue: The Editor’s Eye! It is like running my fingers through years and years of the essential role that fashion has played since Vogue launched 120 years ago. This book focuses on a few of the magazines’ fashion editors and tons of beautiful photography. I love having this book and whipping it open on a day I am feeling blue, it is an immediate pick me up!
How could anyone get a fashion book and not get a Chanel book?! Coco Chanel was definitely one of the most influential fashion designers of the 20th century. In her book Chanel: The Vocabulary of Style her chic style and amazing fashion continues to be powerful even over today’s fashion designers. Flipping through the pages of this book makes me realize how influential Coco Chanel was to what the fashion industry has come today.
The Woman I Wanted To Be by DVF is such an interesting read. DVF is such an influential women and she created the beautiful wrap dress that it so elegant on all woman. In this book Diane Von Furstenberg discusses how she became the admired women she is today.
The Little Dictionary of Fashion by Christian Dior is a guide to dress sense for every woman. I love having a dictionary of fashion by my bedside table just incase I need to check something in it! In this book Dior tells the secrets of style that no woman should ever live without. This book is so unique and it covers everything from head to toe that deals with fashion. I love this book so much and I highly recommend it!
