Spheres of Hope

This weekend I went to MacArthur Park where they have candy-colored spheres in the lake. This was such a cool thing to see in an area that needs some major revitalizing. The artists put these colorful spheres in this park just for that reason. They wanted to show the people of Los Angeles that this park has a lot more to offer and many residents have been over looking its beauty. After seeing these spheres of hope it was clear that slowly MacArthur Park will come back to life with this art in the water.Spheres of Hope, MacArthur Park, DTLAI decided to wear PLAID of course! I went here with my sisters and it was so much fun!DSC_0226MacArthur Park, Spheres of Hope, plaid, converse, dtla, fashion bloggerDSC_0219 DSC_0207 DSC_0340 DSC_0047Red Crop Top//Plaid Miniskirt//Chambray Shirt//Converse//Michael Kors Purse

Miniskirts are a huge trend for this upcoming fall/winter season. While it does not feel like fall at all in Los Angeles I can at least still wear the fall trends from the runway. I love plaid and whenever I can wear it, I do! I paired this plaid skirt with a red crop top, converse, and a chambray shirt tied around my waist. I love adding a tied chambray for style, of course, but also incase I get cold. While it is very hot outside, it tends to be freezing in all of the stores or restaurants I go into. So this way I have something on me that is stylish and functional!

Wearing plaid and a tied chambray shirt around your waist will be sure to keep you Vest Dressed! And if you live in LA be sure to check out the Spheres of Hope before they are gone, they are so cool!
