Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone! Ahhh I love this holiday, mainly because I have an excuse to eat my favorite type of food for every meal of the day (dream come true!) Growing up I got to eat some of the best Mexican food around since I lived in Arizona. I feel like since I grew up in Arizona I have a special love for Cinco de Mayo! When it comes to fashion for Cinco de Mayo it is important to have fun with it! Bright colors and embroidered flowers are my personal favorite.
White on white is huge this season! While I was hesitant at first with wearing white on white I tried it and fell in love with it. The key to wearing white on white is to mix textures. Mixing textures will give the outfit dimension which is necessary when wearing all of one color.
Purple is my favorite color and there are these purple trees all over Los Angeles right now and they take my breath away every time I see them! What could be prettier than purple trees?! I mean seriously! So, of course, I wanted to match my favorite tree as well as wear my favorite color! This outfit while simple, is very put together and the perfect spring time outfit!
These Marc by Marc Jacobs polka dot pants have been on my radar for the longest time!! When I was in Nordstrom Rack the other day I found them and I could not believe it! I was soooo unbelievably happy! I have pinned ways on how to make these pants myself I wanted them so bad! Since they are rare now be sure to check it out if you like these pants you can make them yourself!

Spring street style is my favorite. I love throwing on my favorite cut-off shorts and keds and heading out to explore my awesome city I live in! This shoot was actually taken on my apartment roof (how cool!?) I have a rooftop with such an amazing view and each time I go out on it I stand there in awe at how beautiful the City of Angels is. And for all of my LA readers keep reading for how to get free tickets to an event next Thursday!
Dust off your lava lamps because the biggest trend from the seventies is back! That’s right…FLARES! Flared jeans are back and bigger than ever. I love flares, they are so much fun to wear. Something else that is extremely back is the all denim look, also known as the Canadian Tuxedo! I am always a bit weird when I have to pair denim on denim but with this outfit I could not wait to pair the two together.
Pershing Square is one of my favorite parts of Downtown, Los Angeles. I love how in the middle of a busy city there is a beautiful park for dogs, children, and families to go to and hang out at. Pershing square seemed like the perfect place for pastels (I love alliteration if you couldn’t tell!) This outfit that I am wearing is so unique because both of the pieces are from boutique type places!
Well, it is that time again, festival time. Music festivals are happening left and right starting with this weekend at Coachella. Festival fashion is very important and when you get it right it is so fun! Festival fashion consists of flower crowns, cut-off shorts, boho style shirts, skirts, dresses, TASSLES, and of course booties.
