Crazy enough I had never been to Laguna Beach before! I absolutely loved it there. It has such a small town home vibe to it. I just did a day trip here but no doubt I wouldn’t mind living here. Keep reading to find out where I ate, what I wore, and what beach I went to.
Spontaneity is one of my favorite things ever and randomly I woke up one morning and said screw it, I’m going to Palm Springs for a night with my best friends. The drive down was traffic filled but I am SO glad I went for that one night. While there we went and got drinks at The Parker Hotel and then got delicious Mexican food. Also, on the drive down we stopped at the MECCA of all In-N-Outs and there was an In-N-Out University and we got matching Dad Hats and everything felt right int he world.
This summer I really wanted to make a point to be spontaneous and make a day trip here and there. Well, alas, I went to Santa Barbara with one of my coworkers and had SO much fun! I had never been to Santa Barbara before and it was such a fun drive up the coast. Of course whenever I go on little road trips In-N-Out is a MUST. On the way there we stopped for a yummy burger for lunch and kept trucking to sunny Santa Barbara.
If you guys haven’t been to Malibu Cafe yet then you are missing out on a huge gem in California! It is such a fun place to go with family or a big group of friends. There are a bunch of games to play like bowling and chess on the lawn and of course lots of yummy alcoholic beverages! The food is delicious but the only downfall would be the service. Not the bestttttt service or at remembering who ordered what, but altogether was so much fun and I can’t wait to go back again!
Huntington Beach is definitely somewhere I would consider home. The smell of the beach, family memories, and endless days in the sun are what I think of whenever I think of HB. Deciding to have a photoshoot here was a no brainer. While I look a bit fancy for the beach the skirt I am wearing was flowing so nicely with the beachy wind.
“Beverly Hilllllls, that’s where I want to beeee!” Ever since hearing Beverly Hills by Weezer I knew I would love it. I have been to Beverly Hills before but this time I actually stopped to use the sign as a backdrop! I absolutely love Beverly Hills. The shopping, flowers, and all the people make me feel so happy. Flowers were starting to bloom in Beverly Hills and so was my crop-top…
Five miles later and I completed a round trip to the Hollywood sign! Hiking to the Hollywood sign is something that I feel like everyone has to experience at least once in their life! And if you are going to hike fashionably then you have to hike in Lulu Lemon, only of course!
Black and white and grey all over! I love wearing monochromatic colors and I feel like lately it’s all I have been wearing, but hey, I don’t hate it! I am obsessed with wearing stylish sweatpants IN PUBLIC. And I mean, what could be better than wearing fashionable sweatpants?
“Pink isn’t a color, it’s an attitude!”
This pink wall in LA is the BEST wall EVER. This wall is the Paul Smith wall on Melrose and I advise everyone to go have a photoshoot in front of it sometime! Once again I am decked out head-to-toe in Irene’s Story!
This past weekend my sister and I went and discovered some more of LA (obvi!) We heard about the Taschen Gallery wall so we had to go see it for ourselves. The wall says “THE ROLLING STONES IN PHOTOGRAPHS” in HOT PINK neon letters! I absolutely loved these letters and they made for the perfect backdrop for a blog post!
