Walker Canyon, Lake Elsinore

On the way to Coachella we went a little bit out of our way to stop at the poppy’s at Walker Canyon in Lake Elsinore. This was such a beautiful pit stop even though we may have been a little late to see the poppy’s ~we will try again next year~ The mountains were still extremely beautiful. I wore a fun ombre maxi dress with tie tassels! Keep reading to get outfit details below 🙂

The Broad

I finally got to go to The Broad the other day with my sister and it was seriously so much fun! The art work was beyond beautiful and an art museum that I highly suggest everyone in LA getting around to eventually. I would reserve your free tickets before hand or be really good at sweet talking…hehe! I wore patched shortalls to the museum which I thought was perfect since it was a super hot day outside!DSC_0064

Spring Street Style

Spring street style is my favorite. I love throwing on my favorite cut-off shorts and keds and heading out to explore my awesome city I live in! This shoot was actually taken on my apartment roof (how cool!?) I have a rooftop with such an amazing view and each time I go out on it I stand there in awe at how beautiful the City of Angels is. And for all of my LA readers keep reading for how to get free tickets to an event next Thursday!

Girly at Griffith

Griffith Observatory is a must if you live in LA, and if you do not live in LA put it on your bucket list for when you come visit! At Griffith Observatory you can hike and see the most amazing views. If you aren’t up for hiking because you just hiked to the Hollywood Sign two days ago… then the observatory is the perfect lookout point to see Los Angeles in all of its glory (that is if there is no smog and it’s a clear day, fingers crossed!)

All You Need is Love

So today I went to where I will be interning to check it out and right across the street is the most amazing wall art! It was so cute and said LOVE all over it in red! My sister and I just had to stop and take a photoshoot in front of it (I mean everyone else walking by was doing it!) This also got me all excited for Valentine’s Day and to show the ones I love most how much they mean to me!IMG_3500I am wearing a Wildfox skater dress that is not only so adorable but also incredibly comfortable!  I love how this dress has long sleeves because it is perfect for California ‘winter’ (68 degrees).  I had no clue this mural would be on the wall and just happened to be wearing my heart dress, funny how it worked out!  The hat I am wearing is from Topshop, of course, and I absolutely love pairing Keds with almost every outfit!  They are the perfect shoe to just throw on and go.  They also match pretty much every outfit which is a major plus! FullSizeRender-6 FullSizeRender-7 IMG_3499I am loving my time in LA so far and I can’t wait to find more murals all throughout the city!  In light of Martin Luther King Jr. Day tomorrow and my post being about love he once said, “I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear!” I hope everyone has a nice MLK day off and that you all stay full of love and vest dressed!
