In the Spring in Southern California having cute long sleeve dresses is key. Unfortunately, it isn’t consistently warm here until July. We are going through May gray right now and right after that June gloom will hit. So having sleeves is necessary since it goes in and out of being hot and cold. Jumpsuits are my favorite and surprisingly I do not own too many of them! When this jumpsuit came in at Nordstrom I squealed, put it on my body immediately and then before even knowing what was happening I purchased it! I have been super into trouser style pants recently. High waisted, belted and chic is what I am after when it comes to trousers. I am trying to challenge myself to not buy jeans anymore. I get stuck in a jean rut. I LOVE jeans. I can alwayssss find a reason to get yet another pair of denim. The first thing my Mom said to me when I came down wearing this outfit was ‘where’s your helmut?’ While she thought it was hilarious I definitely looked at her a bit blankly and she said ya know like a motorcyclist in your leather. Refinery 29 recently opened a museum in NYC and then they brought it to LA since it was so popular. This museum was called 29Rooms and it was a complete funhouse full of style, culture and technology. You got to go into special rooms that were all decorated different inside and had different meanings to them. It was so cool that a bunch of artists put together such a cool place for people to gather and check out. Keep scrolling to see some of the rooms and what I wore to the museum.
