I finally got to go to The Broad the other day with my sister and it was seriously so much fun! The art work was beyond beautiful and an art museum that I highly suggest everyone in LA getting around to eventually. I would reserve your free tickets before hand or be really good at sweet talking…hehe! I wore patched shortalls to the museum which I thought was perfect since it was a super hot day outside!
Spring is HERE and while it is not quite tank top weather you can still wear them! Wearing a lace shirt under spaghetti strap tops or slip dresses will be the go-to outfit this spring and summer. It is not only practical because it keeps you warm on the cooler days but it is also completely trendy!
GUYS, apartment hunting is SO much harder than I ever would have thought it would be! Of course, I am being really picky but I plan to live where I move until I move in with a boyfriend/fiancé and that clearly isn’t happening ANY time soon!
It is officially summer for me as I am on a break from FIDM! These first few days of my break all I have done is go to the pool! I absolutely love laying out in the sun and splashing around in the pool. It is so relaxing. And of course no pool day is complete without a pool full of floaties! Below I am linking all the links to the floaties that I own!
The LACMA lights took my breath away for sure. I have driven past them a bunch of times but I have finally had the chance to go out and walk through them! They are so cool but to be honest I thought they would be taller!
Black and white and grey all over! I love wearing monochromatic colors and I feel like lately it’s all I have been wearing, but hey, I don’t hate it! I am obsessed with wearing stylish sweatpants IN PUBLIC. And I mean, what could be better than wearing fashionable sweatpants?
“Pink isn’t a color, it’s an attitude!”
This pink wall in LA is the BEST wall EVER. This wall is the Paul Smith wall on Melrose and I advise everyone to go have a photoshoot in front of it sometime! Once again I am decked out head-to-toe in Irene’s Story!
On Friday I went and visited the Louis Vuitton Series 2 exhibit in Los Angeles! This exhibit was extremely innovative and very visually appealing. There were about seven different rooms that the exhibit takes you through. Each room has a different visual for everyone to look at. It was so exciting and entertaining, I definitely suggest everyone checking it out if they are in LA!
This past weekend my sister and I went and discovered some more of LA (obvi!) We heard about the Taschen Gallery wall so we had to go see it for ourselves. The wall says “THE ROLLING STONES IN PHOTOGRAPHS” in HOT PINK neon letters! I absolutely loved these letters and they made for the perfect backdrop for a blog post!
Today my sister and I went to the Arts District to see all of the amazing street art that is covering the streets from head to toe! It was so neat to see all of the art and to explore another part of downtown Los Angeles. Of course while going to the Arts District I thought it would be a perfect opportunity for backdrops for one of my blog posts! This post is all about patterns, patterns, and MORE patterns!! I love mixing and matching patterns, keeps my style funky fresh!
