I am OBSESSED with this outfit, not even going to be shy about it 🤷🏽♀️ Rails plaids are awesome but sometimes they can be a little bleh if you don’t style them right. Below I’m going to show you how I styled my Rails shirt so that it has edge to it and isn’t so basic, if you will.
In honor of my 24th birthday I thought I would go ahead and share 24 things about me that you may or have not have known. I am so excited for turning 24 and looking forward to a great year ahead!

Desert X is a site-specific, contemporary art exhibition that was built in Coachella Valley from Feb 25th – April 30th. The exhibits are meant to bring alive the desert in the form of art which I think is just the coolest thing ever! My sisters and I were able to go to 3 of the many art installations. We went to Mirage, Circle of Land and Sky, & Curves and Zigzags. Keep reading to see the art installations and what I wore at them!
When I wear green I always feel like a mermaid due to my red hair! I love the color green and it is always so fun to wear. I wore this green Topshop dress to brunch but it is also great for work! For work I wore it a bit quirkier by wearing my hair in two braids, a choker, and adidas. But, for this post, I went for more of a polished, professional look.
If you have ever wanted to wear something that looks like your grandparents curtains around your waist, then this skirt is IT! I absolutely love that this skirt looks vintagey and is so different from other skirts I own. It has a bit of a fall undertone to it since it is darker fallish colors but still perfectly good to wear in the summer. I actually wore this for Thanksgiving this past year so maybe that is why I associate it with fall! Anywayyyyy keep scrolling for details!
While most people associate layers with the cooler seasons like fall and winter, layering is just as important and trendy in the summer. Wearing strappy dresses with t-shirts or mock neck turtlenecks underneath is a super cute look for the summer. This look is always great because it can take you from day to night. Wear it to work during the day straight to meeting up with friends or a significant other after work for a much needed drink.
Abbott Kinney is one of my favorite little places in LA. It is a street in Venice filled with the cutest little shops and the yummiest and most sought after food spots! Fun fact: Flaked the Netflix Series was filmed all on this street pretty much! Abbott Kinney is dripping in head to toe cool wall art. I got some pics in front of some of them but there are many more walls to get pics in front of next time I go! Here is a look at some of the walls – and I ate at Kreation Kafe which I also highly suggest!

When I wear a sporty outfit I still like to add some girly touches to it to make it Haley-esque. I paired my adidas shoes and adidas shirt with a button up jean skirt and a fun Pom-Pom (fendi inspired) Topshop Scrunchy!
