I FINALLY ventured to the Rose Bowl Flea Market and it did not disappoint. I have been wanting to go to this since I moved to LA so it has been on my list for about 3 years now ~wow how have I lived in Los Angeles for three years already!?~ I went with my sisters and best friend and we left Santa Monica at around 8ish and got to the flea at around 9am. It is in Pasadena so it is a little bit of a drive.
While a LBD is always a must, in the summer so is a LWD (little white dress)! If you haven’t heard the phrase before then welcome. LWD’s in the summer will end up being your go-to. I love this one I am wearing because it is an edgy shirt dress. Keep reading to see the cool wall I shot in front of and other ways to style this dress!
Crop tops and shorts seem to pretty much be my summer uniform. I love finding fun crop tops that have a little more detail to them! I am wearing a pretty light blue one with some white shorts which makes for the perfect summery day time outfit.
I finally got around to going to The Getty after living in LA for a year and a half and let me tell you it did NOT disappoint. While at The Getty it felt like I was lifted far away from LA and I loved every second of it. Sometimes it is nice to get out of LA or at least feel like you are out of it for a few hours. A tram takes you up to the museum and the beautiful flower gardens. I wore a crop top and acid wash jeans…
Spring street style is my favorite. I love throwing on my favorite cut-off shorts and keds and heading out to explore my awesome city I live in! This shoot was actually taken on my apartment roof (how cool!?) I have a rooftop with such an amazing view and each time I go out on it I stand there in awe at how beautiful the City of Angels is. And for all of my LA readers keep reading for how to get free tickets to an event next Thursday!
Five miles later and I completed a round trip to the Hollywood sign! Hiking to the Hollywood sign is something that I feel like everyone has to experience at least once in their life! And if you are going to hike fashionably then you have to hike in Lulu Lemon, only of course!
The LACMA lights took my breath away for sure. I have driven past them a bunch of times but I have finally had the chance to go out and walk through them! They are so cool but to be honest I thought they would be taller!
“Pink isn’t a color, it’s an attitude!”
This pink wall in LA is the BEST wall EVER. This wall is the Paul Smith wall on Melrose and I advise everyone to go have a photoshoot in front of it sometime! Once again I am decked out head-to-toe in Irene’s Story!
Another one of my favorite boutiques is Irene’s Story! I always go to the one in Huntington Beach, California and it is awesome. I can always count on this boutique to have way too many things that I want!! It is all always so cute and organized on the inside, which makes shopping so much more pleasurable. This boutique has so many merging styles in one store, the clothes are always super fashionable and extremely affordable. What is better than cute clothes that don’t break the bank?! That’s right, nothing! I am going to show you an outfit that I got last weekend while visiting my favorite SoCal boutique.
And yes, EEHHHPP that IS Lauren Conrad! Anyway, done fangirling (for now!) I have wanted some crochet shorts for soooo long and this pair from Irene’s Story was perfect. I love how they fit and how comfy they are. I love how I played with the colors of my outfit and mixed it up with a lilac fedora and a turquoise necklace! I love wearing hats and I love turquoise so I thought the two together would be perfect!
I hope you all get a chance to visit Irene’s Story someday in the near future and check out how awesome it is for yourselves! Don’t forget to check out my other Boutique Chic post from a few months ago!
Visit Irene’s Story to stay Vest Dressed! 🙂
On Friday I went and visited the Louis Vuitton Series 2 exhibit in Los Angeles! This exhibit was extremely innovative and very visually appealing. There were about seven different rooms that the exhibit takes you through. Each room has a different visual for everyone to look at. It was so exciting and entertaining, I definitely suggest everyone checking it out if they are in LA!
