Business casual is always a bit of a confusing dress code guideline if you ask me. While, I know this is not what people traditionally mean by business casual I went and ahead and did my very untraditional take on it. Wearing a superrrrr casual outfit and then throwing a blazer on to top off the look has been a go-to recently. I mean, if you’re wearing a blazer no one can tell you that you aren’t dressed nice enough, right!? Keep reading to see how I took a super casual outfit and threw a blazer on top of it to make it a little more put together and a little less slobby looking.
Velvet everything as of late! I saw this burnt orangey colored mock turtleneck and I immediately said yes puhleaseeeee. It’s the perfect fall piece for California since it is velvet and mock neck but also short sleeve-describes California fall perfectly!

Happy New Year Everyone! For my first post of 2017 I will be talking about baby pink accents! I love creating an outfit off of a color I am currently obsessing over. The color for this outfit happened to be baby pink!
I can always count on my Dad to tell me the truth about what I am wearing and with this shirt I KNEW he would have something funny to say. He told me that it looked like some moths had gotten to my shirt ~crying laughing emoji~ Shirts with holes in them are very in right now. Everyone is making them from extremely high end fashion brands to cheaper ones! I am wearing one that I got from the BP section of Nordstrom and I love it! The shirt looks just like the super expensive ones as well!
Tank dresses are such a great closet staple. They are extremely versatile and can be easily transitioned from summer to fall! For this outfit my sister and I explored Lake Hollywood Park with her dog Winston!
In the summer I love throwing on some white shorts and a tank top and calling it a day. Although it seems like such a simple outfit it is still exciting to wear. As you can see from this outfit simple does not mean boring!
Chambray and loose denim are huge this season. I recently got this pair of white boyfriend jeans and I am obsessed with them. I was looking around in my closet wondering what to wear them with and of course I went with chambray. Chambray is a great go-to clothing option this spring and summer season!
